Fullness of God

The fullness of God dwells in Christ
And as Jesus fullness
Overflows within me
I am completely filled
With the fullness of God

All the sorrow and grief
That God experiences from sin
Was poured into Jesus
When He took the cross that day
His death and resurrection
Released eternal life in me

The fullness of God dwells in Christ
And as Jesus fullness
Overflows within me
I am completely filled
With the fullness of God

All the pure love
That is the essence of God
Was poured into Jesus
As God’s beloved Son
And now pours into me
Till from me it’s overflowing

The fullness of God dwells in Christ
And as Jesus fullness
Overflows within me
I am completely filled
With the fullness of God

All the pure joy

The Fullness of God audio version

It Was Enough!

Jesus sacrifice on the cross that day
It was enough to wash all my sin away
To make me pure, clean and whole
To remove all defects from body and soul
All his suffering, he has credited to me
So I can live from sin’s chains freed

Jesus sacrifice on the cross that day
Was enough to wash all others sin’s away
Inherited sins no longer define me
Being sinned against no longer binds me
To make me pure, clean and whole
To remove sin’s damage from my body and soul

Jesus death on the cross that day
Included me in a powerful way
Taking the sinful person who once defined me
Into death for eternity
So it’s no longer part of me
From compulsion to sin Jesus set me free

Jesus death on the cross that day
Included me in a powerful way
Taking sin’s of others which once bound me
Into death for eternity
So they’re no longer part of me
From sins damage Jesus set me free

Jesus resurrection from the grave
Included me in a powerful way
Through it he gave me a new life
Filled with his goodness and righteousness
As a son of God I have been reborn
Jesus fullness and favour now my beings core

Jesus Ascension to His eternal throne
Has raised me to heights I could never have known
One with Jesus as co-ruler and co-heir
Filled, wrapped in His glory for eternity there
I live with Him at God’s right hand
Bringing heaven to earth as love demands

Jesus’ death and resurrection it was enough
To heal this world with his unfailing love
For ALL the damage our sin has done
By His Presence can be undone
The new life flowing from His throne
Recreates on earth our heavenly home

Petition

The days just disappear
Yet there is little I can do
My brain is in a fog
Fatigue haunts me too
Too often I can’t sleep
And I cry silently
And silence seems my answer
As Your voice I can’t hear

Lord I need to hear
Your precious voice again
For it brings great joy
And eases all pain
When You speak
My heart sings
And all of my problems
Become little things

I long to see
Your face again
In the glory of Your Presence
All else is drowned
The love, peace and joy
That emanate from You
Overcome all darkness
And make me joyful too

Please break through Lord
With Your manifest Presence
Nothing short of You
Will help me get through
Like Job I seek
Your justice and mercy
The justice that Jesus
Has already paid for

When Jesus was arrested
It should’ve been me
He was perfectly sinless
And I fully guilty
Yet though I was wrong
He took my place
Dragged off to court
Without a complaint

When Jesus was tried
It should’ve been me
He had done nothing wrong
Of sin He was free
But He stayed silent
Knowing the cost
That my sin required
My gain through His loss

When Jesus was whipped
And crowned with thorns
It should’ve been me
Who was mocked and scorned
For I was the one
Who called, “Crucify Him!”
I’d rejected God
My own self to favour

When Jesus was nailed
To the cross at Golgotha
It should’ve been me
For the sins I’ve committed
My punishment
That I truly deserved
Fell on Jesus instead
As my lamb and scapegoat

When Jesus died
On the cross that day
It should’ve been me
On whom death had his sway
My rejection of God
In favor of self
Was a capital crime
Only death could assuage

But when Jesus rose
Conquering death
Through the Holy Spirit’s
Powerful eternal life
He offered to live
His life in mine
Giving me all He’d achieved
His fullness divine

I knelt at the feet
Of my Saviour and Lord
I had nothing to give
For this sacrifice of love
But a broken heart
And sin damaged life
Yet He accepted me
Made me His eternal bride

So knowing my prayers
Don’t depend on my service
For Jesus has done all
To give me Your favour
I ask God to see
Your face daily
So I am renewed
By Your Joy, love and pleasure

I know You have promised us
So much more than this
Healing, restoration
Living Your manifest Presence
I want to be
Your Presence here on earth
Living in the fullness
Of Your Holy Spirit

Do Not Fear

“Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.” Psalms 23:4 TPT

“Then my fears will dissolve into limitless joy; my whole being will overflow with gladness because of your mighty deliverance.” Psalms 35:9 TPT

“When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! “When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?” God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”” Psalms 91:1-16 TPT

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NLT

When My path for your life
Takes you through dark valleys
Fear will never conquer you
For I’ve already made you Mine
My goodness and love
Will pursue you all your days
In My Presence fear dissolves
Into joy and love and gladness

Do not fear
For I Am with you
Be not discouraged
For I Am your God
I will strengthen and help you
I will hold you up
In My victorious right hand
As you enjoy My full salvation

I have enthroned you
With Christ under My shadow
I Am Your secret hiding place
Your powerful shield from harm
I cover you with My majesty
My faithful arms surround you
My angels protect you
Giving you a God-filled life

Do not fear
For I Am with you
Be not discouraged
For I Am your God
I will strengthen and help you
I will hold you up
In My victorious right hand
As you enjoy My full salvation

You can rest in my presence
Enjoy the cup of My salvation
Drink deeply from my well of life
More good than you imagine
In Me all wounds are healed
All needs find their consummation
In My love, joy and peace
You’ll find Your re-creation

Do not fear
For I Am with you
Be not discouraged
For I Am your God
I will strengthen and help you
I will hold you up
In My victorious right hand
As you enjoy My full salvation

And from Your peace, living

Gospel in brief

God made this world perfect and made us to live in it, governing and maintain it .

We decided we could do it without him.

The reason this world is not perfect is that we chose to rule it for ourselves, without God and we have made a mess if it.

Religious rules and laws do not change us, they only serve to point out where we have gone wrong.

We do not have the power to change to doing things God with God’s way without His help.

So God sent Jesus to:

1. show us how He can empower us to live His way and restore our world.

2. Pay for our rebellion

3. Restore us to being children of God just like Jesus

When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, He comes to live in us, be one with us, giving us His perfect relationship with God and filling us with His Spirit, His power and wisdom to restore this world. We are translated into God’s kingdom where we gain a new heart and new Spirit, joined to God’s Holy Spirit. Living life with God brings freedom from old habits and wrong thinking to live God’s way.

Giving Thanks for Jesus in Me

“Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!” Colossians 1:27 TPT
“Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 TPT

A meditation to rejoice in the function of every part of your body and Jesus’ Presence there. It is important if you are sick or disabled in any way, not to focus on the sickness or what you don’t have, but focus on what part of that is working and is functioning and give thanks for that. A spoken version of this text is available in this audio file so you can use it as a meditation guide: Giving thanks for Jesus in you

Sit or lie somewhere in a relaxed position and close your eyes.
Begin by breathing in and out slowly and gently.
Thank You Lord Jesus that as I breathe in and out You are there breathing in and out with me.
Your strength is added to the natural strength of my lungs and I rejoice in that added strength as we breathe in and out together.
Together we breathe in and out, in and out, taking in life giving air, and expelling the used air.
And as we breathe in and out together I praise and thank You for the oxygen which leaves the air and enters into my lungs and into my bloodstream.
I praise and thank You for the oxygen which is entering my body and renewing every cell of my body.
I praise and thank You for the breath and the oxygen that is bringing life to my whole body.
I praise and thank You for Your Presence in my lungs bringing the strength and breath of heaven to my respiratory system.
I praise you for each breath and the life it brings to my body.

I thank you Lord for the beating of our hearts which takes oxygen and nutrients to every part of my body.
I thank You Lord that because You are in me our hearts beat together as one, Your heart giving strength to my heart.
I praise and thank You that every beat of my heart is strengthened and renewed by Your Presence; Your heart in my heart.
I praise and thank You that together our hearts pump life giving blood to my whole body.
I praise and thank You that Your blood and my blood run together through my whole body bringing resurrection power, the health and wholeness of heaven to each and every cell.
I praise You for each heart beat, each pulse of blood and the life it brings to my body.
I praise and thank You Lord for the bones in my body, one with Your bones, which give shape and support to my body and produce the cells needed for my blood.

I praise and thank You Lord that Your bones and my bones form the frame of who I am as I sit or lie now, holding me in place, giving me structure.
I praise and thank You Lord that Your bones and my bones form the frame that enables me to move.
I praise and thank You Lord that when I live, sit, stand, walk, or run, Your bones are giving the strength and structure of heaven to my bones.
I praise and thank You Lord that Your bones are working with my bones to produce the cells needed for my blood supply and immune system; the health and wholeness of heaven to my whole body.

I praise and thank You Lord for the digestive system in my body, which is one with Your digestive system, bringing the nutrients I need into my body.
I praise You for the function of our liver, pancreas, stomach, bowel, and kidneys working to provide me with all the nutrients I need and take away the waste.
I praise and thank You Lord that working together, our stomachs and bowel digest the food and drink that I take in, giving life-giving nutrients to my whole body.
I praise and thank you that your Presence in me is bringing the health and wholeness and nutrients of heaven to my whole body.

I praise and thank You Lord that the system of muscles, tendons and ligaments which help hold my body together and make it move, is strengthened and guided by Your presence, Your muscles, tendons and ligaments in mine.
I praise and thank You for all the movements our muscles make together: breathing, speaking, singing, walking, standing, turning, running, holding onto things, making things, writing, shaking hands, hugging, even cooking and cleaning. It is so true that in You I live and move and have my being.
I praise and thank You for the strength, health and wholeness of heaven that Your Presence in me gives to my muscles, ligaments and tendons.

I praise and thank You for my brain and nervous system that is one with Your brain and nervous system, enabling me to think and move and be who I am in You.
Together we see, hear, taste and feel the world with Your brain giving my brain clarity and helping my brain with Your understanding.
I praise and thank You that I can rest inYour thoughts and perceptions knowing them to be true.
I praise and thank you that you enable me to see, feel, touch, taste, smell and understand this world from heaven’s perspective.
I praise and thank You that Your mind shares with my mind all your wisdom and understanding.
I praise and thank you that, mind to mind, you share with me Your knowledge and understanding of God.

I praise and thank You that Your Spirit and my spirit are united as one, sealing me as God’s child too.
I praise and thank You that that spiritual essence that makes me me and makes me human, is united with Your Heavenly Holy Spirit, sealing me into the Trinity with You.
I praise and thank You thank Your Spirit imparts to my spirit the power of your resurrection, giving me Your perfect, eternal, holy, heavenly life.
I praise and thank You that in uniting us spirit to Spirit and body to body you have raised me to God’s right hand, seated with you, reigning eternally in this life and the next.
I praise and thank You Jesus that You give me all that You have and all that You are now, today, tomorrow, and forever.

Jesus In You

“Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!” Colossians 1:27 TPT

A meditation to help you be aware of Christ in you:

The following is the script for this meditation but I encourage you to practise this, listening to this audio file,  following the instructions from there:

Set comfortably somewhere with an upright and relaxed pose.

Now close your eyes. Let your mind and body begin to settle into the practice of welcoming Jesus in you and noticing what your body feels like.

Focus your attention on your feet, recognising in your mind and seeing in your imagination, that Jesus’ feet are in your feet.

Notice all the parts of your feet that are touching the floor. Jesus’ feet are also touching the floor with your feet.

Notice your toes because that’s where Jesus’ toes are too.

Notice the middle of your foot because the middle of Jesus’ foot is there too.

Notice your heel for Jesus heel is there too.

Notice your ankle. Jesus’ ankle is with your ankle.

Notice the whole bottom of your foot because that is where the bottom of Jesus’ feet are too.

Notice your whole foot, inside and out, because Jesus’ feet are there too, inside and out.

Let your and Jesus’ feet sink into the floor, noticing the support of the earth and feeling it ground both of you.

Begin to notice your body sinking into Jesus’ body as you touch what you are sitting on.

The back of your thighs into the back of Jesus’ thighs against your seat.

Your back into Jesus’ back against the back of the chair.

Your arms melding into Jesus’ arms relaxing into the chair.

Your hands in Jesus’ hands relaxing on the arms of the chair.

Let your body, hands and feet sink into the body of Jesus, supported by the chair and the floor.

Begin to notice your breath as you and Jesus breathe together.

Just breathe easily for a few breaths, noticing where your breath goes as you and Jesus breathe in and out together.

Notice the pause between your in-breath and out-breath as Jesus breathes and pauses with you. If your mind wanders – as it probably will, because that is what minds do – just notice where it goes for an instant and then slowly, gently, direct your attention back to breathing with Jesus.

Notice your breath in your nose and Jesus’ nose going in and out.

Notice whether the air you and Jesus are breathing in is hot or cold.

Notice whether your and Jesus’ breathing is light or heavy and slow or fast.

Notice your breath in your and Jesus’ chest as they rise and fall together with each breath, like a wave, moving up as you breathe in and down as you breathe out.

Notice how your and Jesus’ chest expands and contracts with your breath.

Watch the rhythmic wave in your and Jesus’ chest as you and Jesus breathe in and out.

Continue watching yours and Jesus chests breathe together for a few minutes.

Now direct your attention downward to your belly.

Put your hand on your belly to help you connect with a spot just below your belly button because Jesus is there too.

This spot is at the very core and centre of your body and Jesus presence is there too. The centre of his body is in the centre of your body.

Notice how your and Jesus’ belly moves out when you breathe in and how they move in when you breathe out. There’s no need to force or change your breath in anyway. And if your mind wanders, bring it back to your and Jesus’ belly kindly and gently.

As you notice your and Jesus’ breath in your belly, notice whether your breaths change or stay the same.

Notice the rhythm of breath in yours and Jesus’ belly.

Notice how you and Jesus breathe together as one.

Begin to expand your attention outwards towards your whole body resting in Jesus’ body.

Begin to notice your whole body and Jesus’ body working together as a single unit- breathing in and breathing out together in a slow, steady rhythm.

Notice the waves of breath as they move in and out of your and Jesus’ body – feel your and Jesus’ nose, the back of your and Jesus’ throat, your chest and Jesus’ chest, your and Jesus’ rib cage, your and Jesus’ belly, and your whole body with Jesus’ whole body filling with fresh cleansing air.

Notice how your breath travels through your and Jesus’ body refreshing and renewing every area it touches.

Notice the rhythm of your and Jesus whole body breathing as one: first the in-breath, then the pause between the breaths, and finally the out-breath. You and Jesus breathing in and breathing out, as one, together.

Slowly bring your attention back to the chair, your hands and feet. Slowly open your eyes and begin to notice the room around you. Take your time, and notice how your body feels now that you are aware of Jesus in you.

Feel free to make your own version of this to suit you.

Envision Healing 2

“Suddenly, a leper walked up to Jesus and threw himself down before him in worship and said, “Lord, you have the power to heal me . . . if you really want to.  Jesus reached out his hand and touched the leper and said, “Of course I want to heal you—be healed!” And instantly, all signs of leprosy disappeared!” Matthew 8:2-3 TPT

Imagine you were in the crowd following Jesus that day:

I had been on the mountain top to hear Jesus’ teaching. And although what he said was more demanding than anything I had ever heard before there was a power in His words that stirred my heart and made me want to follow Him, made me want more.

So as Jesus went down the hill side towards Capernaum, I followed Him because that was where my heart wanted me to go.

I wanted to see what He would do and hear more of what He had to say, so with the rest of the crowd I followed Him that day.

As Jesus reached the bottom of the hill I saw a leper approaching him. A man clearly disfigured, clearly ill, who should’ve been keeping clear of everyone, should’ve been ringing a bell and shouting “unclean!” so all would keep away. For the law of God proclaimed him as an outcast, one who should keep away from the temple and God’s people, so his disease would not spread to others. Everyone would’ve seen him as one cursed by God and as he drew near the crowd drew back, some even shouting at him to go away.

But Jesus did not seem to hear them, did not seem afraid or worried. He just kept on walking towards Capernaum, and towards the leper, leaving others to make their own decisions.

Suddenly the man walked up to Jesus and threw himself down on the ground, worshipping Jesus like he was God. The crowd around was horrified, drawing back further to save themselves. There were voices of anger at the man’s boldness and condemnation that he had disobeyed the law. But in the eyes of some who were silent that day, tears formed for his pain, their hearts grieving his loss.

Jesus had stopped as the leper began to worship and turned his love and gaze on the man. And finding more courage, the man spoke up saying, “Lord you have the power to heal me…. if you want to.”

Clearly the man had heard of Jesus reputation. Clearly he had heard of Jesus power. Perhaps, from afar, he had even seen Jesus healing and freeing others from sickness, seen Jesus power and authority. For his boldness in approaching Jesus said he knew Jesus need not be afraid of his illness. He knew that Jesus power could overcome his sickness; Jesus power could take it all away. And a man with that sort of power had to be one sent by God so he bowed in worship to honour Jesus that day.

But the one thing this man could not be sure of was that Jesus would welcome his presence and petition, and choose to heal him with his power that day. For over the years so many people had condemned him, condemned him as a sinner, as one abandoned by God. They told him his sickness was God’s retribution and that he deserved the illness he got. So this man was not certain that he would be welcomed or even acknowledged by this man of God. But there must’ve been something in the stories he’d heard of Jesus, or something in what he had seen from afar, that gave him hope that Jesus might heal him, might save him with God’s loving power. So he spoke up and asked, asked for Jesus healing power.

Jesus would’ve known what this man had been through. He would’ve known he was an outcast, thought of as one cursed by God. He would’ve been aware of the crowd withdrawing and of the words of condemnation they spoke over this man. But Jesus heart saw a man who was broken, broken by sin and shame and condemned by illness to die. A man looking for hope, looking for healing, looking for a God who would be on his side.

And in His first response Jesus showed he was on the leper’s side. Showed that He cared. For Jesus reached out a hand and touched the leper; touched the man that had been labelled by all as untouchable. You could’ve heard a pin drop in the collective gasp of air from the crowd. That one action shocked even Jesus’ disciples. But Jesus did not stop there. He continued looking lovingly at the leper and said, “Of course I want to heal you—be healed!”

And before anyone in the crowd had time to raise objection, the man was healed, right before our eyes! All the disfigurements that the disease had caused him were gone and he stood up straight looking at his body which was not just cleansed but whole again! The man was dumbfounded, speechless, with tears streaming down his face.

Jesus instructed him to speak to no one but to go straight to the priests and get his healing certified and make the offering demanded by the law. The man nodded, choking back tears of joy and saying, “Thank you!” quietly, over and over again. He got up and did as Jesus told him, the crowd parting in front of him as though they could not yet believe his healing.

I will never forget that day, never forget seeing Jesus love and power touch the untouchable man, never forget seeing Jesus heal and make whole the man all thought God had condemned. I will never forget because in that action I knew I had seen God’s saving grace in action in this world. And it was then that I realised that Jesus was the Messiah, the one sent by God to save us. And I decided I would follow Him wherever He went, decided I too would be His disciple.

As the now-healed-leper ran off, Jesus turned and looked straight at me. He saw the tears of joy streaming down my face, and smiled, nodding slightly in my direction. He knew what was in my heart and he was pleased. And like many others I continued to follow Jesus as he entered Capernaum.

Envision Healing 1

“Jesus ministered from place to place throughout all of the province of Galilee. He taught in the synagogues, preaching the hope of the kingdom realm and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. His fame spread everywhere! Many people who were in pain and suffering with every kind of illness were brought to Jesus for their healing—epileptics, paralytics, and those tormented by demonic powers were all set free. Everyone who was brought to Jesus was healed!” Matthew 4:23-24 TPT

What would it have been like for those who are sick to meet with Jesus that day, imagine it. Dwell on the picture. Become part of the crowd.

Imagine someone with your pain or sickness seeing Jesus that day:

See how he healed others with just a word or touch. No great dramas or show just loving words and simple touch. Moving gently along as each person is healed. Great authority and love in action revealed.

See the joy the expressed by those who were healed. See them jump and dance, praising Jesus for what he had done. Rejoicing with family or friends over the change. Running to bring others for whom sickness remained. A lame man is pulled to his feet and now running. A leper is clean and whole and hugging his family. A once deaf and mute woman singing at the top of her voice. Children who were crippled beggars are dancing and playing with limbs and sight healed. So much rejoicing with tears of joy flowing freely.

See the crowd swarm Jesus so each one could be healed. Hearing the words of amazement as Jesus power was revealed. Hearing gasps of amazement and wonder by all.

And imagine deciding that you’ll join the fray. Pushing your way towards Jesus for healing that day. Hoping against hope that He will touch you and bring healing and wholeness to your body again.

And just when you think maybe you will miss out. Jesus turns towards you with a smile on his face. “Be healed beloved, go in peace without sickness or pain.” He knew what you needed without you having to explain.

You feel his power coursing through your body. The power of his love and his authority. The touch of his hand on your face says it all. His love and healing is for you as well.

Basking in that moment. Jesus touch and smile. His power and love focused on you now. Jesus loving you as God’s Beloved child. The gentle touch, the welcome in his eyes. And his powerful love sweeping all sickness aside. Peace, joy and wholeness enter into your body, filling the places pain and sickness used to occupy, becoming your new reality. For nothing can stand against Jesus authority.

Rejoice, dance, sing and praise Jesus for His powerful love that brings healing and wholeness. Feel strength and freedom of movement in your body again.

Kneel at His feet in wonder and awe, our wonderful Saviour and loving Lord.
