Causes me to doubt the fullness of Your Presence
How can it be You fill me to overflowing
When pain is my awareness, overcoming?

The touch of Your hand healed the leper completely
Peter’s mother was healed at Your spoken command
Touching Your garment healed the lady who was bleeding
How can Your Presence in me do anything less?

Each day I seek to experience the truth
Of Your Presence in me, sealed by Your Spirit
The fullness of the promises, written in Your Word
All that I receive through Your death and resurrection

I wait each day, Your promise to experience
The fullness of Your Presence in all it’s completeness
I lean into You Jesus, trusting You are there
I need Your strength and faith to help me endure

I dream of the day when this burden is lifted
When I am strong and pain free as my maker intended
When the completeness of Your Salvation
Is glorified in my body’s physical condition

There are times I have experienced Your overwhelming Power

I seek to know that same Power in my body
Healing all that’s wrong now and for eternity
Releasing me from torment to live as Papa God’s son
The fullness of Your Presence, making us as One

It is Your Presence which draws me

Feeling sick yet again
Wondering if this is it
Will this struggle never end?

I remember Your promises
The words you gave to me
About harvests of nations
And lost years more than reprieved
Of fruitfulness that blesses many people
And releasing captives to be God’s children

Jesus death paid for much more than this
For our healing, every cut of His flesh
Every drop of His blood, cleansing us from all sin
His resurrection raising us to new life in Him

When I see what is happening in my nation today
Our indigenous people ignored and cast away
And refugees who need our help instead incarcerated
And climate change ignored and farms devastated

I remember the promise
The words you gave to us
About a Spirit filled nation
And I lean on You in trust
For Your fruitfulness that blesses many people
And releasing captives to be God’s children

Jesus death paid for much more than this
For our healing, every cut of His flesh
Every drop of His blood, cleansing us from all sin
His resurrection raising us to new life in Him

When I see bad things happening all around the world
Wars, slavery, starvation, man’s inhumanity to man
People grasping for power in anyway they can
Our planets struggling to survive the greediness of man

I remember Your promises
The words you gave to me
About harvests of nations
And lost years more than reprieved
Of fruitfulness that blesses many people
And releasing captives to be God’s children

Jesus death paid for much more than this
For our healing, every cut of His flesh
Every drop of His blood, cleansing us from all sin
His resurrection raising us to new life in Him

Rules and regulations will not rescue, will not save us
Laws have their place but can’t remove our fears or change us
Governments and ideologies cannot save us from our sin
And our hurts and grief’s can’t be healed by wars or incarceration

A full revelation of the glory of Jesus
In the hearts minds and lives of all of His people so precious
Is our only hope, our only salvation
The only way forward for this planet and its nations

When I’m feeling overwhelmed
With troubles fencing me in
And it seems I have no answers
Can’t see the way to freedom
I choose to put my faith in You
Declaring what Your Word says is true:

Rebirths, resurrects, re-creates, and raises up
Lifting to new life those that sin declared were dead
Making heavenly kings of the poor and wounded

By the troubles in my nation

Can’t see the way to freedom

How to give them release

When it seems like evil has triumphed over good
And nothing I can say or do protects the innocent
I remember how Jesus death , which looked like defeat
You turned into a victory that all mankind can save
And I choose to put my faith in You

My bones ache with weariness
My muscles cry out in pain
And I have no energy
Other than to exist for the day?

Touching my whole body
With Your love eternally
Yet in sickness I live
Yearning to be free?

That the punishment You took

When I lie here in sickness
