In Jesus Papa God
Were Your secret plans revealed
To re-create and save us
Make us full Sons of God!

Just as Jesus was born
Of Mary’s union with Your Spirit
So we who call Him Saviour
Are reborn in union with Your Spirit

Just as Jesus Christ
Was a sinless man
So in Him we’re re-born pure
With a new pure heart like His

Just as Jesus grew in wisdom
Favoured by You and man as He matured
So we can mature in Him
As through His Word we are transformed

Just as Jesus through His suffering
Learned to listen and obey God
So we can mature in Him
As we listen and are empowered

Just as Jesus gave forgiveness
To all sinful men He met
So we can give out forgiveness
As we receive it from Him to give

Just as Jesus gave love
To all He encountered
So we can give His love
Because with Him we are united

Just as Jesus gave heaven’s blessings
Through healing and deliverance
So we can bless others
By His power working through us

Just as Jesus rules all
And is seated by Your side
So we are raised to rule with Him
His Kingdom is now ours!

Your long range plan, O God
Your choice and Your delight
Is to create many Sons from us
In unity with Jesus Christ
