God’s perfect righteousness

Lives in me

His name is Jesus

And He’s set me free

Reconciling every part of me

To be One with God

For eternity

.

My heart’s no longer

Simply mine

It belongs to Jesus

It is His home

His Glory filling

Every corner of me

With His eternal life

Love, joy and peace

.

My spirit is joined

To God’s Holy Spirit

Sealed as His Son

Through Jesus’ merit

God’s law of love

He empowers in me

Righteous living

For eternity

.

My mind is

With Jesus mind renewed

To think like Him

To love the world

Forgiveness and joy

Love and peace

My governing thoughts

His righteousness

.

My body’s healed

Restored, renewed

Jesus all my

Punishment received

His righteousness

Now given to me

From Satan’s hold

Has set me free

.
