Lord, even in the light we see every day, that part of Your Glory we live in, You wanted purity so Your light would not be diminished or contaminated by darkness.
“God is pure light. You will never find even a trace of darkness in him.” (1 John 1:5b TPT)
“O Lord, you are my lamp. The Lord lights up my darkness.” (2 Samuel 22:29 NLT)
And when Your light entered this world in person, in Jesus, we saw that “this
Living Expression is the Light that bursts through gloom — the Light that darkness could not diminish!” (John 1:5 TPT)
The Physical light:
When I see the morning sunlight, I embrace the purity of Your Glory in my day, surrounding, embracing and protecting me.
In the light of the midday sun I catch a glimpse of the power of Your Glory to overcome darkness Lord.
As the moon and stars light the night the darkness is lit by Your Glory Lord.
As I turn on a light I welcome Your Glory banishing the darkness Lord.
The Spiritual light:
When You wrap me in the light of Your Glory I want to live wholly separated unto You, in the light of Your Glory, pure in You.
And when I see the light of Your Presence in the faces and actions of others I rejoice that Your Glory is overcoming the darkness of sin in this world.
When You fill me with the light of Your Glory, You banish all sin, all darkness in me, Your life becomes mine and I am reborn in Your image.
The light of Your Glory is powerful, cleansing, life-giving, joy and love and I embrace it.
The Revelation light:
When I experience a revelation of the light of Your Glory I am overcome by Your powerful purity and beauty of Your Goodness.
When I experience the light of Your revelation through “the living Word of God, which is full of energy,… it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword….even penetrate to the very core of my being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of my hearts.” (Hebrews 4:12 tPt)
The Goodness of Your voice brings light to my life, banishing the darkness and my soul longs to receive it every day.
I speak out and declare Your Word for my life:
Fill my heart with Your pure light.
Renew my mind with the pure light of Your revelation Words
Fill my spirit with the pure light of Your resurrection power
Pour the pure light of Your love and joy into every corner of my being
Wrap me in the protective light of Your Glory
Light the way before me with Your Glory
Be the embracing light that guards my back
Daily declarations:
As I rise in the morning I say Light my day Lord, make it purely yours.
As I move about my home I say Let the light of Your Glory shine here and purify this place.
As I go about my work, my day, I say Let the pure light of Your Glory shine here
Wherever I see darkness I say Let the pure light of Your Glory shine here
As I lay down to sleep I say light my slumber with Your Pure Presence.
Activations:
As I clean my teeth I pray, purify my mouth with Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord. May I like Jesus speak only those words I hear You saying; words of forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement.
As I wash myself daily I pray, purify me with Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live Jesus’ holiness today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I put on clothes I pray, dress me in the purity of Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live Jesus’ righteousness today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I drink I pray, wash my with the powerful purity that is the Light of Your Holy Spirit Lord so I can live the powerful eternal life of Jesus today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I eat I pray, full me with the purity of Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live the fullness of Jesus today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
