“God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:17-18 NLT)
Just as God lights and rules this universe and keeps His light pure, so His lights, the sun, moon and stars light and govern day and night for us, separating night from day. And something which so clearly reflects the nature of God must be good.
As long as I [Jesus] am with you my life is the light that pierces the world’s darkness.” (John 9:5 TPT)
The Physical light:
When I see the morning sun, rising to rule the day, I praise the goodness of Your Rule Papa God.
In the light of the midday sun I welcome the power of Your Glory to overcome darkness Lord.
As the moon and stars light the night, I thank You that even the darkness is lit by Your Glory Lord.
As I turn on a light I welcome Your Glory banishing the darkness Lord.
The Spiritual light:
When You wrap me in the light of Your Glory I am overcome by Your Rulership of Love.
And when I see the light of Your Presence in the faces and actions of others I rejoice that Your Glory governs their lives.
When You fill me with the light of Your Glory, You govern all that I am and I am reborn in Your image.
The light of Your Glory is powerful, cleansing, life-giving, joy and love and I embrace Your Lordship over my life.
The Revelation light:
When I experience a revelation of the power and authority in the light of Your Glory I am overcome by Your Goodness.
When I experience the overcoming authority of the light of Your revelation through Your Word, I rejoice in my new found freedom and life!
The Goodness of Your voice brings light to my life, banishing the darkness and my soul longs to receive it every day.
I speak out and declare Your Word for my life:
Rule my heart with Your pure light.
Govern my mind with the pure light of Your revelation Words
Overcome my spirit with the pure light of Your resurrection power
Rule every corner of my being with the pure light of Your love and joy.
Govern me with the protective light of Your Glory as I go through my day.
Light the way before me with Your overcoming Glory
Be the ruling light that guards my back
Daily declarations:
As I rise in the morning I say Govern my day Lord, make it purely yours.
As I move about my home I say Let the light of Your Glory shine here and govern in this place.
As I go about my work, my day, I say Let the pure light of Your Glory rule here
Wherever I see darkness I say Let the pure light of Your Glory govern here
As I lay down to sleep I say light my slumber with Your Rule, Your Presence.
Activations:
As I clean my teeth I pray, rule my mouth with Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord. May I like Jesus speak only those words I hear You saying; words of forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement.
As I wash myself daily I pray, overcome me with Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live Jesus’ holiness today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I put on clothes I pray, dress me in the governing authority of Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live Jesus’ righteousness today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I drink I pray, fill me with the governing power of Your Holy Spirit Lord so I can live the powerful eternal life of Jesus today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
As I eat I pray, full me with the overcoming power of Your Presence, Your Glory, Your Light Lord so I can live the fullness of Jesus today bringing forgiveness, healing, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to those I meet.
