I was driven by fear and shame 
I was broken by sin’s hold
But Jesus Presence in me now
Frees me from all that damage
To live embraced in Your Love
Through His righteousness and cleansing

Deceived into thinking I alone

Comes with a brand new heart empowered
Overflowing with His Love for all
His love my fortress and my freedom

My spirit was once in rebellion from God
Trying to be god of my own life

But Jesus Presence in me now
Comes with the gift of a new spirit empowered
Bound in essence to His Holy Spirit
Empowering me to live as God’s beloved
