Jesus:
Receive My joy producing grace

Once you thought you were alone
With no one truly by your side
Thought there was no one you could trust
To be your life‘s true guide
But then you saw how much I love you
Chose Me as your Saviour and Lord
Now we are always together
Bound by My Spirit as One

Once you thought you were broken
Permanently damaged by sin
With your heart bound by stone walls
So no more hurt could get in
But I gave you a new heart
Took the old one to the grave
And in your new heart I am living
So you need never be afraid

To keep repeating your past sins
Thought you would never be acceptable
God would never let you in
But I freed you from that trap
Took your old man to the grave

Once you thought you could not know God
He seemed so far away
His Word so hard to understand
His law so hard to obey
But then I gave you My Spirit
Joined to yours so we are One
So you can know Us intimately
Hear My voice, live in My love

Once you thought you were powerless
To affect the world for better
Thought life‘s difficulties, pain and troubles
Would hold you back, a joyless snare
But then I filled you with my Presence
My love, peace and joy
Filled you up to overflowing
For I’ve overcome the world!

Now you can take my Presence
My love and peace and joy
And overcome what troubles you
My powerful grace employ
Together we can change
This world to be like heaven
Bring in My rule of love and peace
