Before You even made us Lord

You knew we’d go astray 

Leaving your paths

To go our own way

So You planned our salvation

To send Your Son to save

Through His death and resurrection

He would save us from the grave

.

Like a diamond with it’s facets

That catch the light at every turn

Your salvation is a treasure

That we can never ever earn

.

You came to this earth

To show how we could live

When filled with Your Spirit

And Your Eternal Life

Healing and deliverance

Forgiveness and love

These are the hallmarks

Of your kingdom come

Died our sinful man’s death

Put it all in the grave

So we could leave it there

Then You rose from the grave

To give us Your Eternal Life

So we could live with You

At God’s right hand

At Your command
