In the beginning created

In Your image, to live on this earth

To create and cultivate

To rule this earth Your way

And at our birth You rejoiced 

Saying this is a very good day

You embrace us with Your praise

As Your Salvation we display

Though from Your paths we have wandered

In rebellion gone astray

Yet some chose to stay beside you

Hearing Your Voice each day

As they walked with You in obedience

You promised mankind to save

.

You rejoice over us us with singing, Papa God

You embrace us with Your praise

For we are Your creations crowning jewel

As Your Salvation we display

You sent Your Son to show us

What mankind could truly be

If healed and delivered

From our rebellious streak

And reborn in Your likeness

As we were designed to be

.

You sent Your Son as our Sacrifice

To die our death, pay our sins’ price

As we embrace Jesus’ life in us

I praise and thank You Papa God

That I sit enthroned under Your shadow

Hidden in Your strength

For You are the hope that holds me

You are the stronghold that shelters me

My only God, my great Confidence

.

I praise and thank You Papa God

That You have promised to rescue me

From every hidden trap of the enemy

From every false accusation

From every deadly curse

And protect me in Your embrace

.

That I can hide, covered by your majesty

Your arms of faithfulness shielding me from harm

I need never fear a spirit of darkness

Or demonic forces attacking

For You will keep me safe and sound

.

That as I live my life in in Your Shadow

Make You my secret hiding place

I will always be shielded from harm

Where no evil can prevail or disease infect

For Your angels protect me where ever I go

.

That You protect those who love You like I do

Set us in a safe place before Your Face

Answer our cries for help when we pray

And we can find and feel Your Presence 

Even in times of pressure and trouble

.

That you will make me Your glorious hero

You will give me a feast

With a full life You will satisfy me

With all that You do for me, you will satisfy me

For I will enjoy the fullness of Your salvation

Flows like an endless river

For all to receive

As Your eternal bride
