85. You God Determined

.

When I am ill and down

When sickness stalks my days

I remember Your promises

And hold on to them in praise

.

You God determined

I would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I receive it now, thank You

I live in it now, praise You

.

When I am battered by others

And want to retaliate

I remember Your promises

And hold on to them in praise

.

You God determined

I would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I receive it now, thank You

I live in it now, praise You

.

When my unmet needs seem great

And I cannot see my way

I remember Your promises

And hold on to them in praise

.

You God determined

I would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I receive it now, thank You

I live in it now, praise You

.

When life seems a battle

And like nothing goes my way

I remember Your promises

And hold on to them in praise

.

You God determined

I would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I receive it now, thank You

I live in it now, praise You

.

When my spirit is downcast

And sadness stalks my days

I remember Your promises

And hold on to them in praise

.

You God determined

I would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I receive it now, thank You

I live in it now, praise You

.

Open my eyes to see

Make Your promises manifest in me

I want to live Your promises

And share them in praise

.

You God determined

We would be whole and holy

Blessed with every heavenly blessing

United, one with Jesus

I live in it now, thank You

I share it now, praise You

.

A meditation on

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

Ephesians 1:3-4 NLT
