My Love for You

Jesus:

Let Me tell you how much I love you.

Before this world was made I planned to die for you, to rescue you into My kingdom.

As I prayed in the garden of Gethsemane and sweated blood I held My love for you before My eyes.

As they beat me black and blue My love for you was safely held in My heart.

As I walked the road to Golgotha it was My love for you that kept My feet moving.

As they hammered in the nails it was My love for you which held Me there, stopped Me from just walking away.

And when I felt the weight and result of of your sin, separating me from Papa God, it was My love for you that gave Me the strength and courage to bear it.

And when I died it was My love for you that kept me going to give you a way home.

And when I rose from the dead it was My love for you that brought me to your side, rejoicing in the new life I had to offer you.

And when you accepted My gift, accepted My love, all of heaven rang with the joy that was in My heart.

My love for you had no beginning and it has no end.

You have My life as I have yours and we are One! One- you and I!

Dance with Me, rejoice with Me, for we are One and you are free to know My love and live with Me!

Ephesians 1:2 fourth meditation

Meditation on Eph. 1:2 TPT

I praise and thank You Papa God that You have called me to be a devoted believer who has been made holy by being one with Jesus, the Anointed One. Heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I praise and thank You that You release grace over me and impart total well-being into my life.

Jesus Your Presence, Your empowering grace

Your grace it shatters the hold of sin
Breaks all the chains that to death bind me in
And raises me to new life in Your kingdom
To reign with You from Your heavenly throne

Your kingdom on earth to build

Your health, Your wholeness, Your total well-being
Your intimacy with our Father in heaven
These are Your gifts that are mine to live in
So I can live on earth as in heaven

Your love, joy and peace, the fruits of Your Spirit
That overcome through trial and testing

Ephesians 1:19-20 Second Meditation

I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!” Ephesians 1:19-20

Imagine you had a bottle
Which contained some of the glory of Christ
It would glow with gold like the brightest sun
Dressed in rainbows and lightning
Be perfumed with the very essence love
And full of the power of eternal life

No one could could stand in it’s presence
No one could deny it’s power
It would change the atmosphere all around
And transform all those who came near

It would cleanse those nearby of their sin
As they breathed His forgiveness in
Feeling empowered to live differently
They would know just how much God loved even them

It would break the chains of their bondage to sin
As their old self died and was buried
New life would fill them, heart, mind and body
Filled with God’s Holy Spirit

All of their earthly sorrows
Would lose their power and hold on their life
As peace, joy and hope overwhelmed them
And the power of His love extinguished all fear

All sickness and demonic oppression
Would flee from their bodies and minds
As the freedom that Christ came to bring us
Was revealed in the touch of His Presence

A people once bound to earth
Would be transformed into children of heaven
Would become just like Christ as sons of God
Living God’s kingdom forever

This is the gift God has given
To all those who know Christ as Saviour Lord
By faith we become that bottle of life
Full of Jesus’ Presence and power

So live in the glory of Jesus
Shining inside of you
Glowing with gold like the brightest sun
Filled with the very essence love
And full of the power of eternal life
Revealing Jesus in all you do

Becoming a Son of God

I looked and I saw a door standing open in heaven, and a … voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here,…” And instantly I was in the Spirit in heaven. The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of the LORD filled the Temple.

I saw the Lord sitting on a lofty throne made from lapis lazuli, a deep blue marbled stone, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones— deep fiery reds, yellows, browns and greens like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow.

From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. In front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal. A river with the water of life, clear as crystal, was flowing from the throne of God, passing to the right of the altar and flowing out beneath the door of the Temple.

Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful person. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.””

Suddenly all heaven rang with a sound that penetrated through flesh and bone and stone, through the very fabric of existence and in that sound I heard the words: “it is finished!”

Then the Lord Jesus Christ … entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our, [on my]  behalf.

Carrying a gold bowl filled with his own blood He entered this Most Holy Place once for all time to secure our redemption forever. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ had offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins..

Pouring His blood out on the alter, our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time.  Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.

So, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.

You see, God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

An angel came and took me to the alter. She caught some of the blood dripping down in her hand and sprinkled it all over me.
For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean,

Then she took my hand and lead me to the river coming from God’s throne and said, “Jump in and wash”, so I did.
Our bodies have been washed with pure water.

I looked down at myself and I was changed, made new, made whole.
For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.

Filled with love and compassion, our Heavenly Father ran to me, embraced me, and kissed me and said, “Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on this new Son of mine. Get a ring for his [her] finger and sandals for his [her] feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this child of mine was dead and has now returned to life, was lost, but now is found.’ So the party began.

Right next to Jesus was another gold throne and Papa God took me to it to seat me there!
For God has seated us with Christ in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Papa God said to Us,
“Sit with me as enthroned ruler while I subdue your every enemy. They will bow low before you as I make them a footstool for your feet. I will establish your kingdom as you reign in Zion-glory. Rule in the midst of your enemies! Your people will be your love offerings. In the day of your mighty power you will be exalted, and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine as an army arising from the womb of the dawn, anointed with the dew of your youth! I have taken a solemn oath and will never back away from it, saying, “You are a priest for eternity, my King of righteousness!”
You are my favored Son. And as your Father I have crowned you as my King Eternal. Today I became your Father. Ask me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy. Your domain will stretch to the ends of the earth. And you will shepherd them with unlimited authority, crushing their rebellion as an iron rod smashes jars of clay!’ ”

Ephesians 1:19-20 First Meditation

I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!” Ephesians 1:19-20

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

When Jesus walked this earth as a man
He demonstrated what God is like
Showed God’s power to love and forgive
Demonstrated God’s power to heal and deliver
Showed how a human child of God could live

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

Jesus death on the cross, our sinless lamb
Is our door way to freedom from our sinful man
In letting our old self die with Him
We experience God’s power to make us clean
And free us from all our bondage to sin

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

Jesus resurrection to new life eternal
Taking up His throne at God’s right-hand
With authority over all earth and heaven
Is our doorway to our kingdom home
We are raised with Him as co-rulers and co-heirs

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

The fullness of God is in Jesus
And the fullness of Jesus is in us
For God’s Spirit lives within us
Making us one with all They are
Pouring Their power into our lives

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

All that belongs to the Father
He has given to Jesus his son
And Jesus has given His all to us
So we can reveal His glory and power
Advertise His salvation with powerful lives

The power that raised Christ from death to life
The power that raised Christ to heaven’s highest throne
Is the power God releases in and through us
It’s the power God gives to all His children

Ephesians 1:2 third meditation

Meditation on Eph. 1:2 TPT

I praise and thank You Papa God that You have called me to be a devoted believer who has been made holy by being one with Jesus, the Anointed One. Heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I praise and thank You that You release grace over me and impart total well-being into my life.

All that’s in me that’s not holy
Is swept away by the blood of Christ
Into the grave, dead and buried
So now I live in His holy life

The way Jesus loves God with all that He is
Delighting to walk in God‘s ways
Is now my life’s joy and direction
Rejoicing that He is with me always

As God son, Jesus humble dignity
Free of need for human praise
His certainty that He is loved by God
In this I will live for the rest of my days

As Jesus openly loved the unlovely
Pouring into their lives God‘s loving grace
So His holiness, His likeness to God
Empowers me to live the same way

As Jesus used His power to serve
To bring healing, life and freedom
So the power that His Presence gives me
I use to serving others, glorifying Him

As Jesus wisdom and understanding
Kept him free from the lies of this world
Free to demonstrate God’s love in action
This thinking like God is now my abode

All of the ways that Jesus is God
All the holiness He brings to me
Is transforming the ways I think, speak and act
So my holiness gives Him glory

Restoration

Before the foundations of this world were made

God chose you to become in Christ

His holy and blameless child

Living in His tender loving care

This is the new covenant I make with you today says the LORD:

I will put my laws in your mind and I will write them on your heart

I will be your God, and you will be one of my people.

And you will know me.

I will forgive all your wickedness

I will never again remember your sins

So the Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon you

To comfort your broken heart

To proclaim freedom and release

Even in your mourning you will know that the time of the LORD’s favour has come

And with it the day of God’s anger against your enemies

He will give a crown of beauty for the ashes of your past

A joyous blessing instead of mourning

Festive praise instead of despair

Instead of shame and dishonour you will enjoy a double share of honour

And everlasting joy will be yours

For the LORD loves justice

He hates robbery and wrongdoing

He will faithfully reward you for your suffering

Everyone will realise that you are a person the LORD has blessed

For God has dressed you with the clothing of salvation

And draped you in His robe of righteousness

Your salvation will come like the dawn

And your wounds will quickly heal

Godliness will lead you forward

And the glory of the LORD will protect you from behind

Ephesians 1:18 Third Meditation

I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! Ephesians 1:18

Papa God I pray Your light will illuminate the eyes of my imagination, flooding me with light, until I experience the full revelation of the hope of Your calling—that is, the wealth of Your glorious inheritances that You finds in us, Your holy ones

Papa God let the light
The wonders of Your Love
Be the overwhelming vision
That captures my eyes and heart
Let it colour all I see
So I can live in Your heart
And see all people like You do
Your love to impart

Papa God let the light
Of Your forgiveness flow in me
Cleansing and restoring
Breaking chains and setting free
Bringing restoration and healing
To whole communities
Giving Jesus sacrifice
The Glory He deserves

Papa God let the light
Of Your righteousness
Be my guide every day
And in the words I express
Giving me solutions
For the tough situations
Bringing Your rule to this planet
In my life’s decisions

Papa God let the light
Of Jesus resurrection
Fill me with power
To live as His reflection
Filled with His Spirit
United, One with Him
Living in His Glory
Now and for eternity

Papa God let the light
Of heaven’s blessings be revealed
Into my heart and mind
And in my life here on earth
Let the glory of Your Kingdom
Fill my thoughts and actions
So all can see Your love
And Your glorious salvation!

Jesus is My Freedom

Jesus declares to you:

Every mistake, Every sin You have ever made is now Mine and the burden for it, the responsibility for it, belongs to Me. I purchased the right to it from the cross. I paid for the right to exchange it for My eternal life, My eternal love, and My kingdom blessings.

Every mistake, every sin, whether Yours or someone else’s that has hurt or hindered you or others is now Mine and the burden for it belongs to Me. I purchased them all on the cross. I paid for the right to exchange them for My eternal life, My eternal love and the eternal blessings of being a child of God.

I am Your justice, I have paid all your debts, given back more than you or they ever lost.

I am your advocate and I say you are now innocent.

I am your Judge and My verdict is, “Not guilty!”

You are My joy, My desire, the love of My life!

All that I am and have I have given to you. Everything that is negative you have ever been part of, all the hurt, pain, anger, frustration, rejection, fear, shame, violence, abuse, illness, persecution, etc. it all belongs to Me now.

Justice has been done, the penalty paid so let it all die with Me on the cross.

Pick up My love gifts for you, My love, joy, peace, healing, patience, kindness, goodness, and self-control. Enjoy them!

Live in the arms of your new long family, Papa God, Holy Spirit and Me, your brother Jesus.

Be clothed, filled with us and Our love for you – it is Our Presence in and around you that guarantees you are whole and holy, loved and valued. You are Our joy, Our delight, a treasured member of Our family.

From the Biblical account of Adam and Eve’s fall into sin in Genesis 3, we can see that sin (rejecting God’s ways) damages us emotionally and spiritually, damages others in the same way, and damages our relationships with each other and God.

Jesus died to free us from that damage and that is what these prayers are about.

FREEDOM PRAYERS

Romans 8:12-14 (NLT)

12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

Freedom Prayer 1

Lord Jesus I ask you to be obviously present to me now.

Lord I ask that by the power of Your blood and Your death on the cross I be freed from captivity to the sins of others.

I ask that you cleanse me from all the sins that have been done against me so they no longer have power over me.

I nail to Your cross all the negative words that have been spoken against me, all the negative thoughts they have had of me and all the physical ways other people have hurt me.

I ask that you cleanse me from all the sins that they have done against me so it no longer has power over me.

Wash all those things away from me with Your blood so that they are powerless to control me any more.

(Allow time here for the Holy Spirit to bring to mind any specific things He wants to deal with and repeat the above as seems appropriate for what He brings to mind).

Freedom Prayer 2

Lord Jesus I ask you to be obviously present to me now.

Lord I ask that by the power of Your blood and Your death on the cross I and others be freed from captivity to my sin.

I ask that you cleanse me and others from all the sins that I have done against others so they no longer have power over me or them.

I nail to Your cross all the negative words that I have spoken against anyone, all the negative thoughts I have had of anyone and all the physical ways I have sinned against anyone.

I ask that you cleanse us all from all the sins that I have done so they no longer have power over us.

Wash all those things away from us with Your blood so that they are powerless to control us any more.

(Allow time here for the Holy Spirit to bring to mind any specific things He wants to deal with and repeat the above as seems appropriate for what He brings to mind).

Holy Spirit pour out Your Healing Presence on all those I have sinned against and heal the damage I have done. Glorify Jesus in them.

Holy Spirit from the well of Your Presence in me, pour out Your Resurrection healing power into me to heal those sin damaged places in me. Fill those places with Your powerful eternal life. Be our double compensation for the losses we have received.

Show me the new, whole, clean and Godly spirit and heart/soul You have planted in me and teach me to live from that. Glorify Jesus in me now and always.

Favour that produces vengeance. Every curse against you you can turn into a prophesy for good. Every evil purpose becomes an opposite blessing. Every area of defeat God will turn into a victory! For everything against you He’ll give you a promise for the exact opposite. As you partner with God he will move you from measure to fullness because everything will be useful for your growth and development. God will do more than you can ask or think.

So daily as you run into difficulties, declare the negatives in your life as dead on the cross with Jesus and thanking Him for the compensation He is giving you, particularly the love, joy, and peace He is gifting you with. It is challenging, sometimes very challenging to trust God to make everything right. The results are not always immediate but the rewards will make the effort very worthwhile.

Why forgive?

Holding on to the hurt or offense, waiting for human justice, remorse, apology or even an opportunity for revenge keeps us tied to the person who hurt/offended us and we remain a victim of their behavior.

How can we forgive?

God says Jesus’ death on the cross is sufficient punishment for everyone’s sin.

So if we choose to come into agreement with God, then Jesus has already taken the punishment for the hurt or offense that has been inflicted on us. He was crucified for their sin as well as ours. Jesus has paid for the right to own our bitterness, our offense, our hurt, our desire for revenge and judgement. He has paid to set all the captives free!

So we can give our offense and hurts to Jesus and receive in their place His love, healing and forgiveness flowing through us to set us free from the people who hurt/offended us. Ask Jesus to pour out on you the compensation for your hurts, the healing and blessings for which He paid so dearly. Let Him do the work of forgiveness in you and for you. Let your hurts and offenses die with Jesus on the cross and receive the fullness of His powerful eternal life to fill all those places of hurt with His healing Presence and love. Look for the compensation Jesus has already paid to give you.

Jesus himself claimed this exchange ministry (Luke 4:16-21)

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the LORD’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.

Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. “For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isaiah 61:1-4, 7-8, 10-11 NLT

Please note this is about our heart attitudes NOT a comment on whether legal action is necessary. The circumstances may require legal action to protect people but human justice does not heal the damaged heart.

New for old:

God says Jesus’ death on the cross is to exchange our old life for a new one overflowing with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and self-control.

So if we choose to come into agreement with God, then Jesus has already killed our old life which was subject to negatives like loneliness, illness, grief, fear, pride, unbelief, hurt etc. on the cross. He was crucified so all that was negative in our lives could die with Him. Jesus has paid for the right to own all the negative stuff in our lives. He has paid to set all the captives free!

So we can give our griefs, problems and hurts to Jesus and receive in their place His love, healing and forgiveness flowing through us to set us free. Because while whatever caused the negative things we experience may be very real, it is our response to them that binds us to them or sets us free. And Jesus died to give us a new response. So we can come into agreement with Him and declare all those negatives are now dead, powerless against us because they died with Jesus on the cross. Then we can declare we will receive from Jesus the compensation for these negative things, the healing and blessings for which He paid so dearly. Let Him do the work of transformation in you and for you. Let your negative experiences die with Jesus on the cross and receive the fullness of His powerful eternal life to fill all those places of loss with His healing Presence and love. Look for the compensation Jesus has already paid to give you.
