Jesus’ Faith was birthed in me
As He gave His Eternal Life to me
I can live from His faith eternally
Live from His power to set us free
Rest in all He’s accomplished for me
Rest in His guidance to set people free

Your Faith Jesus, Your Faith lives in me
I rest in Your Faith to create in me
The child of God I was born to be

Jesus’ faith in God led Him to baptism
Even though as a man He had not sinned
And as a result of His Faith’s action
Bystanders heard God’s appreciation 
“This is My Son, whom I love 
With Him I am well pleased!”

Jesus’ Faith took Him through the desert
Without the need for food and water
There to be tested with Satan’s taunts
And offers of power if He changed gods
Faith kept Him strong in God’s Word
So He could not be once deceived

Jesus Faith lead Him to preach
Of God’s Love and complete forgiveness
How God desired true holiness
And that requires our re-birth
To become God’s Sons, just like Jesus
Reborn living in His righteousness

Jesus faith lead Him to heal
The sick and dying, making love real
The demon possessed He set free
Those in hunger He did feed
To those whose wounds were hurts of heart
He spoke words that gave them a new start

The child of God I was born to be

Jesus’ Faith took Him safely through
Dangerous mobs that His love eschewed 
Storms that scared the disciples sorely 
Situations that were fraught with treachery
His peace and calm His disciples amazed
His words of power left them stunned and afraid

I rest in Your Faith to create in me
The Son of God I was born to be

Jesus Faith took Him through His trial
Though justice was clearly being denied
Severe beating and mocking He received
While His enemies shouted in treachery
“Crucify Him!” Though innocent
It was justice for us that kept Him silent

Your Faith Jesus, Your Faith lives in me
I rest in Your Faith to create in me
The Son of God I was born to be

Jesus Faith took Him to the cross
To die as us, for our sin’s cost
He took the punishment we most deserved
Sundered from God in death’s dark curse
So our sinful self could die with Him
For the joy of seeing us born again

Your Faith Jesus, Your Faith lives in me
I rest in Your Faith to create in me
The child of God I was born to be

Jesus Faith raised us together from death
For it could not contain His holiness
Resurrected to Life Eternal with God
Re-making us in the Image of God
To rule at God’s right hand with Him
Co-heirs, God’s Sons for eternity

I rest in Your Faith to create in me
The Son of God I was born to be

Jesus’ Faith has given me His Spirit
To seal His Life as my inheritance 
Given me a new heart, in His Love bound
And a new spirit to His Spirit joined
For He has made His home in me
As His dwelling place for eternity
