When the time was at hand

For Jesus’ ministry to begin

He went to be baptised

Though He was without sin

But He trusted in God

That it was the right thing

When Jesus was lead

Into the wilderness

He trusted in God

He trusted in His Word

To overcome temptation

Resist Satan and sin

When sinful ones

Were discovered in their shame

Jesus trusted that God

Would love them again

He gave them God’s forgiveness

To make them sinless again

When sick ones came

Looking for healing Grace

Came looking for Jesus

To lean on His faith

He commanded in God’s name

And sickness went away

When the demon possessed

Came to Jesus place

Trusting in God’s power

He sent the demons away

Set people free from their torment

Made them whole again

When death came calling

To early and too soon

And Jesus was called

With faith He entered the room

And commanded death gone

Giving life back again

And death on a cross

Jesus prayed for release

But took the way of great cost

Trusting God that our eternal life
