It Was Enough!

Jesus sacrifice on the cross that day
It was enough to wash all my sin away
To make me pure, clean and whole
To remove all defects from body and soul
All his suffering, he has credited to me
So I can live from sin’s chains freed

Inherited sins no longer define me
Being sinned against no longer binds me

To remove sin’s damage from my body and soul

Jesus death on the cross that day
Included me in a powerful way
Taking the sinful person who once defined me
Into death for eternity
So it’s no longer part of me
From compulsion to sin Jesus set me free

Into death for eternity
So they’re no longer part of me
From sins damage Jesus set me free

Jesus resurrection from the grave
Included me in a powerful way
Through it he gave me a new life
Filled with his goodness and righteousness
As a son of God I have been reborn
Jesus fullness and favour now my beings core

Jesus Ascension to His eternal throne
Has raised me to heights I could never have known
One with Jesus as co-ruler and co-heir
Filled, wrapped in His glory for eternity there
I live with Him at God’s right hand
Bringing heaven to earth as love demands

Jesus’ death and resurrection it was enough
To heal this world with his unfailing love
For ALL the damage our sin has done
By His Presence can be undone
The new life flowing from His throne
Recreates on earth our heavenly home

Do Not Fear

“Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.” Psalms 23:4 TPT

“Then my fears will dissolve into limitless joy; my whole being will overflow with gladness because of your mighty deliverance.” Psalms 35:9 TPT

“When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! “When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?” God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”” Psalms 91:1-16 TPT

When My path for your life
Takes you through dark valleys
Fear will never conquer you
For I’ve already made you Mine
My goodness and love

In My Presence fear dissolves
Into joy and love and gladness

Do not fear

Guilt and Shame

Guilt and shame are not from God
For Jesus washed our sins away
And continues to do so
As You walk with Him each day
God has declared you His Beloved
Pure and holy in His sight
Not because you are yet perfect
But Because Jesus lives in you today

When Adam and Eve in Eden
Ate the forbidden fruit
God simply asked them questions
So they’d confess their sin
And He could come to the rescue
Sewing clothing of skin

He didn’t want them to remain
Forever locked in their sin
So He barred them from the garden
To let death have it’s way in
Keep them from the tree of life
Until Jesus died for them

Abraham was a lier
Lying to protect his life
Said his wife was his sister
A lie we’re told, he used twice
Putting his wife in danger
Of bearing another man’s child

But God came to the rescue
Revealing Abraham’s mistake
The kings sent Sarah safely back
To Abraham’s tent
God did not condemn him
For Abraham was God’s friend

King David was an adulterer
Using murder to cover up his sin
But God did not condemn him
Or leave him in guilt and shame
Instead God sent a prophet
To reveal David’s heart problem

David grieved and repented
Changed his heart and his direction
Sought again to do things God’s way
Relying on God’s direction
And God himself call King David
A man after My Own heart’s affection

The Pharisees brought an adulteress
To the dust at Jesus feet
Expecting Him to condemn her
Heaping guilt and shame upon her
But Jesus’ question revealed their hearts
And they slunk away instead

Peter denied Jesus
Said he never knew him
Because he was afraid
Of what would happen to him
But Jesus asked Peter to speak his love
Giving Peter forgiveness and healing

Saul was a murderer
Who thought he was doing right
Protecting God’s people
From heresy’s blight
But when he saw Jesus
His mistake was identified

Jesus did not use
Words of guilt and condemnation
Merely showed Saul the truth
Of his perilous situation
Allowing Saul to become Paul
Jesus’ Apostle to the nations

There is now no condemnation
For those whom Jesus has saved
For His death paid the price
All our sin died with Him that day
And He has given us His new life
So we can live His way

Jesus gives us a new heart
That can love His way
And a new spirit
Joined to His Spirit seal
Filling us with Jesus Presence
And His power to rule

Guilt and shame are Satan’s tools
With which he tries to keep us chained
Keep us hiding from God
As though we cannot be redeemed
So we will not find the truth
That Jesus is all we need

Jesus is our covering
So we need not fear exposure
He washes away our sin
So we are whole and pure in Him
And takes up residence in us
Securing us as God’s Beloved

There is no damage or sin
That Jesus Presence can’t repair again
He is the compensation
For all the damage we have done
And of which we have been victims
He is our prize and emancipation

If the world ever really knew
What freedom Jesus bought us
We’d be dancing on the rooftops
With love and joy and gladness
Continually giving Him the praise
For all that He’s accomplished

Presence

“All at once their eyes were opened and they realized it was Jesus! Then suddenly, in a flash, Jesus vanished from before their eyes! Stunned, they looked at each other and said, “Why didn’t we recognize it was him? Didn’t our hearts burn with the flames of holy passion while we walked beside him? He unveiled for us such profound revelation from the Scriptures!”” Luke 24:31-32 TPT

Your Presence Lord
Ignights in us a Holy passion
You speak to our hearts
To the depth of our soul person
And we recognise that Your love
Is what we need to make us whole
And we want to remain there
By Your side forever more
To live in Your Presence
You are our love’s true goal

There are no words to express
The pure love of Your Presence
It is far more precious
Than all earthly treasures
You ignight a flame of love
Holy passion and desire
As Your Presence causes our heart
To truly come alive
And the flame of Your holiness
It Purifies us

In the words that You speak
There is profound revelation
An understanding of Scripture
That defies explanation
For You share with us
Your own relationship with God
So we can know Him
Through the insights You give
And come into His Presence
Knowing we are His beloved

You fulfil our hearts’ longing
To be truly known and loved
Not for what we can do
But for who we really are
You bring out the best in us
For which we were created
Rejoicing in us
As God’s beloved children
In You we find where we belong
Now and for eternity

As we walk through this day Lord
Open our eyes to Your Presence
So we can see You are with us
And hear Your words of wisdom
Let Your Glory be
Our guiding light
Let Your empowering love
Our hearts fully ignight
So with all we say and do
We give all glory to You

Filled With Jesus
