For Jesus paid the cost

To give me His righteousness

Make me a co-heir of God

Though sin’s deceptiveness

May sometimes lead me astray

The holiness Jesus has given me

Will always win the day

Testing my strength of faith

Jesus’ strength in me will overcome

For He is my saving Grace

Though I am simply human

Just another person to this world

Jesus has raised me to His throne

To reign now with Him

As God’s’ beloved son

This world and all its treasures

May seem wonderful and bright

But they fade into the shadows

Of Jesus Glory and Light
